Personal Web Page Creation -- Assignment

You must create a short web page as the essence of Assignment Number One. It should embody some basic features and abide by some fundamental constraints.

The features are:

  1. At least two separate pages, with one linked to the other, and the ability to link back and forth between them by both the BACK command of Netscape and a linked html command of the form A HREF= ....
  2. At least one graphic should appear on each page and at least one of them must appear with text beside it, and not merely above or below it. This may be done via html of the form ....align=right or otherwise...
  3. It should have a bookmarkable title and an internal title that appears in an appropriate place in the viewed page.
  4. Your site must include at least links to three other web sites: (1) the TU4022 site, (2) an external site you have found that is relevant to you personal work or interests, and (3) html resource site.
  5. Your site must include a feedback interface, such as an mailto tag, so that visitors to your web site can communicate their reactions to you.

The constraints are:

  1. The contents of each page must be self-contained on that page and not be so long as to require scrolling to view. This means keep it short!
  2. The html code and what it brackets must be appropriately formatted.
  3. The contents must be clean in details such as spelling.
  4. The design considerations should be clearly specifiable -- that is, what is this site supposed to provide or give the visiting browser.
Due date: July 18 class meeting.
