Dear Employer,

You have the unique Opportunity to contribute to the learning process of a graduate student at Teachers College, Columbia University who is specializing in the field of Instructional Technology and Media.

This internship serves as link with real world experiences in the field and pedagogy and learning principles in the classroom.

The Interns are supervised by an intern coordinator who designs a seminar around the current issues in the field. The process also includes academic work assigned to the intern to reflect on their experience with you.

The interns are paid through tuition points at the college. The stipend is based on how many credits the intern signs up for. The reimbursement paid by the Employers covers tuition and administrative costs which is $1000.00 per credit. Each credit is equivilant to 5 hours per week.

The average intern signs up for 2 to 3 credits per semester.

The internship process is a win-win situation for both the intern and the employer; before payment is rendered there will be sufficient time to decide if the intern is a good fit.

Please fell free to call me to clarify any questions.
