Web Development Internship


ILT's Webmaster, Guillermo Creus, is looking for an intern interested in learning more sophisticated Web development skills with a special focus on design and applying their skills to a high profile site.

This Internship will provide an interested student with the opportunity to learn and apply previous knowledge in the practice of helping develop innovative web projects.

Regular activities will include HTML text formatting using style sheets, web site navigational planning, content planning and research (when necessary), graphic design, other tasks. The activities to be performed by the intern may vary according to the intern's experience as well as ILT's needs for the period of the internship.

Skills favored: good knowledge of html authoring; knowledge of web authoring applications such as Home Site or Dreamweaver; the knowledge of graphic or multimedia applications (Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, Director, Premiere, etc) is a plus; knowledge of java script is a plus.

The internship can be taken for either 2 credits (10 hours) or 3 credits (15 hours).
