"Nature" (or physiology) imposes certain limits on the sexual function of the human male. In contrast, a human female's sexual functioning has no such natural restraints. Shame, modesty, and "reserve" are thus necessessary to keep women from sexually exhausting and eventually overwhelming their male counterparts.
