There are in the Academie of Geneva and at the University of Paris some professors whom I like, whom I greatly estime, and whom I believe capable of instructing youth well, if they were not forced to follow the established practice. I urged one of them to publish the project for reform that he developed. Perhaps people would at length seek to cure the evil if they realised that there was a remedy.
