Alison Lee is a doctoral candidate in Cognitive Studies in Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her research as a Ben and Grace Woods Research Fellow involves investigating the mechanisms through which learning can be improved through emerging technologies. Alison is particularly interested in how metacognitive skills can be facilitated through game environments, and how such development leads to deeper learning. She holds a M.S. in Learning Analytics from Columbia University, and a B.A. in Psychology, Philosophy, and Communication from Rutgers University.
