Ben Friedman is a second year doctoral student in the Cognitive Studies in Education program at TC. He was a Special Education teacher for six years in New York City’s public schools as a New York City Teaching Fellow. He holds a MA in Special Education from CUNY Hunter College and a BA in Electronic Communication from Marquette University. Ben’s research interests include embodied cognition, metacognition, and the design of computer environments that improve learning. He is currently working on Math Models in Motion.
