Robin Walker is an Interdisciplinary (IND) doctoral candidate at Teachers College, Columbia University with a focus on Technology, Organization and Culture. Understanding the impact of Three-Dimensional (3D) Technologies on teaching and learning in diverse educational settings is the subject of her doctoral research.
Walker received her B.A. in English and her M.A.R. at Yale University. From 2005 to 2007, she served as program assistant of the Yale Visiting Fellows Program and as a researcher at the Yale Child Study Center where she conducted media literacy studies with students and parents. Walker was also named an Edward Zigler Fellow at the Yale University – Bush Center for Child Development and Social Policy where she conducted research on media literacy in 12 countries. Robin was selected as an Arthur Zankel Urban Research Fellow at Teachers College in 2009.
